We all know how important VPNs are today. However, there are tons of different VPN providers, some are free, some are expensive, but how do you choose the right one? How do you decide which one is the right for you? Well, look no further because we’ve got you covered! NordVPN is a military-grade VPN service that offers anonymity, strong security and all of this comes with no loss in performance. Moreover, it is very easy to setup and use too!
This walkthrough will explain how to install and use the NordVPN app on iOS in a few easy steps. Let’s begin!
One of the awesome things about Nord is that there are multiple pricing plans, which make sure that there is something for everyone. On top of that, you also get a free 3-day trial, which is more than enough to test out Nord before you commit to purchasing it. So, we have 3 different plans available. As you can see, you even have a 100% money-back guarantee for the first 30 days of usage. Once you’ve chosen your plan, fill in the information with the needed credentials and create an account.
Alright, now that we have an account, it’s time to get the app for our iOS device. This guide will use an iPhone as an example, but the process works exactly the same for iPads as well.
First thing first, we need to download the NordVPN app from the App Store. In the search bar just type in "nordvpn" and it should show up as the first result in the App Store.
Tap on "Get" and let your app download and install. It takes only a few second and once it is complete, open it up so we can move forward.
Since we’ve already registered and have an account, click on the “I already have an account” and you will be taken to the login screen. There, just type in your email or username and password and click to sign in.
Here you can see that we’re not connected – yet. First, we need to allow NordVPN to create needed VPN configurations – this is a normal precaution feature that is built-in the iOS. Click on “Allow”, and enter your passcode (if you have one), to continue. Once that is completed, you should see that NordVPN is now enabled in your VPN settings.
Now that you’re all done and set up, all that is left is to connect to your desired country. You can connect either by clicking on a pin on the map or by selecting a country from the server list.
Once connected, you will see in your notification bar (next to the Wi-Fi bar) that the VPN is enabled. For example, you can see the green confirmation telling you to which country and server you are connected, as well as how long you are connected and the new IP address you’ve been assigned. To disconnect, simply click on the Disconnect button.
Ultra strong security combined with zero-logs policy as well as P2P support makes PrivateVPN one of the best providers considering price/quality ratio.
